Sufism is a way of life in which a deeper identity is discovered and lived. This deeper identity, beyond the already known personality, is in harmony with everything that exists. This essential-self has abilities of awareness, action, creativity, and love that are far beyond the abilities of the superficial personality. Eventually, it is understood that these abilities belong to a greater life and being which we individualize in our own unique way while never being separate from it.
During the pilgrimage Sufi tour to Uzbekistan, you will make a pilgrimage to the burials of Seven Piers (7 Saints), including the tomb of Khoja Bahauddin Naqshbandi, the founder of the Sufi Order of Islam. The program covers excursions in Samarkand, Tashkent, and Gijduvan, however, the culmination of the tour is a visit to Bukhara. Locals call this city "Holy Bukhara" or "Pillar of Islam." The city has a large number of mosques and tombs of Islamic saints. According to ancient beliefs, the blessed light from the sky illuminates all Muslim cities, and only Bukhara radiates its own light into the sky.
